Recently I had a friend ask me to re-string a necklace for her. The piece, which is from Africa was a gift from her boss who recently safaried there. However, the piece just didn’t fit her right. The focal pendants are hand painted ostrich shell and very unique. So, in an effort to sum up her style, I took apart this gift, with a sinking gut, hoping I could do it justice. Well, let’s just say, I’m really pleased with the outcome.
