She’s finally here. We recently decided Choppo needed an equine companion. I, of course, am always open to another horse in the family especially since Choppo is getting up in age and I know I will want to continue my equine activities, perhaps even compete. So, lucky for us, a family member in the area rescued a thoroughbred mama and her 2 week old foal from the feed lot auction about two years ago. This family member already has 5 horses of her own and graciously opened her heart to this needy pair. Two years later, we have agreed to “lease” Gracie and see how she works out in our family. Should we decide to go the distance with her, she will be ours. I of course am already smitten with this easy going, sweetheart, super smart little filly. Her name is Grace and graceful she is, AND ATHLETIC, oh not to mention BEAUTIFUL. We lovingly call her Gracie. If you’re still familiarizing yourself with our little farm, you can catch up here.
