Well, it came and went, Turkey day that is. The food was fantastic. We had an organic turkey at my dad’s and a glazed red chili crusted ham…….yep, only in NM and it was AWESOME. We got our first snow of the season and temperatures plumeted up to 30 degrees colder than what we were experiencing last week. Can you say “extremes”? Now that is one thing New Mexico and Alaska have in common! The difference is, around here, the snow only hangs around for a couple days versus 6 months.

But, we like the snow. Riley’s alaskan born nativeness came out as the skis went on and she assumed the position, although she didn’t actually go anywhere, she was game nonetheless
Dingo is another snow soul. This guy would catch snow balls all day long, however he has to rely on us to throw them, Riley’s always good to go, so Dingo was thrilled
Even Choppo and Grace could be found playing and standing in the giant snowflakes more than in their shelters, guess they prefer the snow blanket.
Of course one of the best things about the holidays is getting the opportunity to see loved ones both near and far.
We had the wonderful chance to see Elle, one of the newest babies on the Kellerman (Stacey’s) side of the family. Elle is the daughter of my cousin Robert and his wife Kara, who live in Denver. She is absolutely precious and was also the inspiration for the
too cute onsies!
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had plenty to be thankful for! Thinking of you.
