Well, we made it through another year. Needless to say it was a very busy weekend! We attended a birthday party on Saturday for Abby’s friend. Then I helped my friend Pam bring a yearling filly to her home. Then we managed to get Grace back to her home, and soon after brought Tammi, the new horse to our home. Oh, but in the meantime our furnace (heater) stopped working and we had to manage that, and somewhere in the flury of everything, Abby celebrated her birthday twice and is now officially 4-years-old. Or as she says, she is a “real” 4 now, not just pretend. The monkey banana cake turned out awesome, all made from scratch by Patrick, myself and assistance from my mom. Thanks mom.

The Pinata was a “hit!”. Abby didn’t cheat and kept her eyes closed.
