Crazy for you
For those of you that don’t know, desert weather can be quite deceiving. One day it’s 50 degrees and sunny and the next were in the single digits, or there is snow, or gail force winds and rain. It’s actually quite hard to acclimate to. However, it doesn’t seem to stop us from getting outside and enjoying are little acre. This weekend we had snow and Riley got the chance to try out the snowshoes she got for Christmas from Aunt Karen.

She then moved on to making snow fairies, as opposed to snow angels.
Patrick made his way over to the “barn” and got his morning love from Tammi, the new horse. If you haven’t been following the blog, we’ve been doing alot of horse swapping around here, and we have brought home a lovely mare for all of us to enjoy.
Patrick has always seemed to favor redheads

Seems to enjoy her kisses over mine

maybe it’s because she gives them back without nagging

She adores the kids, but is still not super buddy with Choppo. My guess is she’ll come around and realize Choppo is really a nice guy. Riley thought she might be interested in a snow ball.
