Sorry I’ve been a slacker about new updates, but hey that typically means lots of new pictures. This past weekend my friend Pam and I participated in this year’s first barrel race of the season out at Rockin’ Horse Ranch in Stanley. We have been preparing for the race season for the past 3 months with Wednesday night practices at the arena and weekend rides. So, needless to say the excitement has been building. In anticipation of this season opener I embarked on a project that I have wanted to do since last January (07). A custom beaded bridle was in order for my special barrel horse, Tamers. So, I set to beading a turquoise cabachon and attached it to a beaded strip created on the loom. I then attached the entire piece to the browband of my girl’s bridle. Here it is………

Looks much better on her, what an Indian Princess she is.

I think it made us run extra special fast, because we set a personal record of 22.6 seconds

now keep in mind, the competitive runs are going at 14, 15, 16, and 17 seconds. But, this was the fastest we’ve run for our first time together in an exhibition, Yeah, Us! We still had a blast.
