The Easter Bunny made it to our humble abode this year! in preparation for his much anticipated arrival, the girls dyed easter eggs with this awesome decorating kit that their Grandma Liz purchased for them from William Sanoma.

Talk about decorations galore, puffy letters, ribbon, stick on 3-D spring stickers, colors, crayons, googly eyes, and more…….Here’s a few samples of what the girls came up with

Then the EB came! he hid all their eggs and they were up at 6:am to hunt them. To their surprise, the EB had left them a special gift! A new baby chic each, yep real ones.

Yet, there was a disclaimer with these little furry cuties, the only ones the EB could get a hold of, were meat chics. So, love them, raise them, feed them well, and they will fill your belly with love in 4 months. As much as we wish there was an option not to eat, apparently these little guys get to fat to walk by 4 months and the only humane thing to do IS eat them. We’re excited in our new found participation in the circle of life……….and are on the hunt for some laying hens that we don’t HAVE to eat.
